Flordia Adventure Part 4: Animal Kingdom, Pool Time and Magic Kingdom

Yesterday we went to Animal Kingdom. I have mixed feelings about that place. It was nice at times but annoying at other times. Annoying part....there was no room in any of the shows and there were such narrow walkways all over the place. Cool part....the safari ride and the roller coaster I was tricked into going on ;) It was the craziest roller coaster ever, I screamed at the top of my lungs the entire time.

After Animal Kingdom we swam in the pool for about 3 hours until 11pm! So much fun. Love the resort pool.

I played family with the girls I was the baby. LOL

Today we went back to Magic Kingdom. We did not get out of the room until 3pm and got to Magic Kingdom around 3:30. BEST DECISION EVER!! We walked onto every ride with no wait. Travis got on Dumbo, Peter Pan, Winnie the Pooh, Buzz Lightyear, and the race cars. The race cars were a huge hit. Travis cried and cried when the ride was over.

I almost forgot that we went on "Its a Small World." Travis was not that into in. Check out his face. LOL!

Flordia Adventure Part 3: Hollywood Studios

Today we went to Hollywood Studios. It was totally up Travis alley since Toy Story was there and Cars, plus they had some Handy Manny and Jake and the Neverland Pirates stuff.

Steve, Travis and I left the park around 6. It was raining and we were hungry. We had a nice dinner at the resort and Travis played with some new toys he got. Not sure where we are going tomorrow. Need to get some rest so I have some energy!

Flordia Adventure Part 2: Resort Fun, Magic Kingdom and Sea World

We arrived at our resort on Saturday around 5pm. My in laws were already there in the pool enjoying some pizza and drinks. We threw on our suits and joined them! The pool is awesome and the people here are so nice. Saturday was karoke night. My neices got right in on the action!

The next morning we got up at hit Magic Kingdom. Hot Damn it is HOT down here. We lasted about 6 hours before we all almost passed out. But we had fun I mean alot of FUN!! Travis got to high five Woody and Jessie from Toy Story. Wait a minute I think someones dreams just came true!

 Today we hit up Seaworld. We had alot of fun and the kids all enjoyed the shows and rides. I had Madison as my buddy today. Her job was to stay with me and Travis all day. The buddy system was needed with 5 kids! Madison took her job very seriously.

Madison was hysterical today. She told me her dream came true because she had a dream that we watched a movie about polar bears then we saw them (totally did that is the artic thing in seaworld). She also told me her least favorite part in Disney was when Dulanie told her Mickey was a person in a costume, but she was still going to pretend it was the REAL Mickey. Then she told me about how she was a cheerleader from ages 3-6 (ummm total lie). I called her out on it and she said "Oh yeah that is just a dream I have every night!" HA!

Tomorrow I think we are going back to magic kingdom in the afternoon. We want to hit the parade at night. But there is no way we are making it all day.

Also I know my pictures are lame but who has time for pictures!!! I am lucky this is all being videotaped

ALSO...Travis is sitting next to me watching Bambi and Hysterically laughing. Isnt it supposed to be sad???

One last thing! I have a complaint for Seaworld...PUT CHANGING TABLES IN ALL BATHROOMS!!! Am I missing something??? The two times I changed his diaper there were no changing tables. Ummmm arent you a childs theme park?!?!

Vacation Adventure 2011 Part 1

We are enjoying Flordia for 10 whole days! Can't believe the first part of the vacation is over.

We took the autotrain from DC to Sanford, FL. Seventeen hours on a train with a two year old. He did perfect.

The novelty of being on a train lasted 20 mins but he loved playing with his cars and watching movies.

We arrived in Sanford and drove 4 hours to our friends house in Naples. We have been playing in the pool and watching sunsets on the beach. Great time so far!!!

Today we went to a local water park and got stuck in a huge rain storm. My friend and I were alone with three kids. All three were hysterical. Her and I had to run with all our stuff and the kids out of the park. We were laughing so hard we could not breath. The kids were not so amused! Tonight it is dinner and then dessert out back and night swimming.....Then off to Mickey's house tomorrow!

Breakdown

Last night Travis had a meltdown, breakdown, temper tantrum, cryfest. It was fun while it lasted but I was glad he was able to pull himself together enough to go to the mall and get a haircut and enjoy some frozen yogurt (I really hope it is NON fat because I am obsessed with this stuff)! I think I got Mandy hooked and Emily was pretty much already hooked.

P.S.-Emmy if you are reading this Travis told me after his bath "emily nice and strong." Hmmmm???

Weekend in Review-Mommy/Travis weekend 2K11

Last weekend Steve went to Ocean City MD to play in a softball tournament. It was just me and Travis all weekend and we had a ton of fun. We started off Friday by going to the AC Moore to get letters to paint for his new toy room. We went and got frozen yogurt afterwards with my friend Traci. We tried out Yogi Castle and it was awesome. I got chocolate yogurt and Peanut Butter Yogurt with Reese Cups. Traci was all healthy and got fruit flavors and yogurt chips with fresh strawberries. What is wrong with that girl?

I was bad and let Travis stay up until midnight watching cartoons. He loves his new toy room so much and always begs me to watch TV in there. I figured whatever it's one night. I think he  loved it.

Saturday we played in the backyard in his little blow up pool. He really just loves the hose and trying to get me wet.

Saturday night we went to see Cars2 with my sister in law and two of my nieces. This was Travis' first time at the movies. I would give him a 8 out of 10. LOL!! He did ok and we stayed for the whole movie but he was an extremely loud audience member. He was yelling "GO GO GO!!" and laughing hysterically. My niece Kiersten was mortified and kept telling him to "shhhhh!"

Sunday we just played around the house and also painted his letters for his toy room.

My neighbor asked Travis what he did with Mommy all weekend and Travis said "We gotta listen to Mommy." Ummm did I ask him to listen too much? Kind of made me feel bad that the only thing he remembered was me telling him to listen :/ Oh well I hope he had fun.....I know I did.

Once more

After I had hugged and kissed Travis goodnight I went to leave his room and he said "once more mama!" I asked "what?" He said "hug once more!" Geesh he melts my heart times a million ....

...and I will do this until he is 21.....
